Located in the small town of Wolsingham, the house is less than a ten minute walk from the shops where there's a couple of pubs, an Italian restaurant, Chinese takeaway and a café.
There's a swimming pool close to the house and a library in the market place.
Outside
There's a small yard at the back of the house and it just takes a minute to walk to the large public park and riverside.

Transport
The house is easily accessible by public transport. There are bus services from the larger towns in the county, or you can take an exciting journey on Weardale Railway from Bishop Auckland station to Wolsingham station which is just 10 minutes walk from the house. If travelling by car, parking is on street.

Upstairs
The bedroom has a king-sized bed, TV and a dressing room / study. There's a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower.
Dog Friendly
Two well-behaved dogs can stay in the house, providing they bring a human to supervise.
Dogs can be exercised in the park just a minute from the house.

Downstairs
There's a compact kitchen which includes a dishwasher, washing machine and a small counter-top freezer. There's a living room and storage space.
Free Wi-fi is provided.

The Little House Location
The Little House is situated in the small town of Wolsingham in Weardale, County Durham. It is in a secluded terrace and backs onto a public footpath leading to the riverside and parkland.
If you are travelling by car, our closest motorway is the A1(M), about 20 miles away. There is a railway station 11 miles away in Bishop Auckland, and many national train companies stop at Durham City and Darlington. There is also a station in Wolsingham served by the heritage Weardale Railway.
