In the small village of North Bitchburn, the pub is a minute's walk away and a five-minute walk gets you to the local ice-cream parlour & café.

Outside
There's a sunny front garden with a beautiful view of the local countryside. You can store bikes in the secure outhouse and there's a public playing field located behind the cottage.

Transport
There's space to park outside the cottage, as well as a handy bus stop. There's a railway station in nearby Bishop Auckland.

Upstairs
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite shower room. The second bedroom can be arranged with one king-sized bed or twin beds , and also has its own shower room.

Dog Friendly
Two well-behaved dogs can stay in the cottage, providing they bring a human to supervise. A dog bed and bowls are available.

Downstairs
The cottage has a cosy kitchen-diner and living room. Across the yard you'll find a handy utility room.

Jackdaw's Perch Location
Jackdaw's Perch is located in the small village of North Bitchburn, near to Bishop Auckland in County Durham. From the cottage it is about two miles to the Kynren outdoor event, ten miles to Durham City and twenty miles to Beamish Open Air Museum.
If you are travelling by car, our closest motorway is the A1(M), about ten miles away. There is a railway station three miles away in Bishop Auckland, and many national train companies stop at Durham City and Darlington.
