Outside

Across the back yard there's a useful outhouse with utility room where you'll find the washing machine, and plenty of space to store bikes securely. There's also a front garden where you can sit and admire the view.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The cottage is around 150 years old and houses were built differently then, so there are a few things to watch out for.

Some of the doorways are low, so mind your head! The second bedroom and en suite also have a low beam (at about 5'9" or 175 cm)  and a sloping ceiling to one end of each room,  so if you are tall you may find the master bedroom more comfortable. Please also take care on the stairs as these are quite steep.

The kitchen is floored with the original Victorian stone flags, and although these look great, a century and a half of wear and tear means they are uneven, and you need to mind your step when walking on them. The back yard also contains many of the original stone steps and flagstones, again, please take care on this surface as it is uneven.
